Life in a time of Covid is forcing shops to reinvent the way they sell books and many are having surprising success at doing this.
Top position and this year’s Miles Franklin winner is “The Labyrinth” by Amanda Lohrey which sold 1,462 copies (+192). Sarah Winman’s, “Still Life” came in second with 1111 sales (-140). This was top seller for June but dropped to fourth last month.
“So You Think You Know What’s Good for You?” by Norman Swan moved from first position to third selling 821 copies (-864).
