Since the Last Update

In June we continued to make improvements to the Circle Gift Card System which is now in beta testing mode. A sharable url is now operational for customers to share their wish lists with friends and family, a handy feature that stores may want to promote in their newsletters. System upgrade work continued including framework, speed and database improvements.

New Features

  • Association portals
    • Non circle sites should display ‘Stock Unknown’ instead of ‘Out of stock’ if no stock is loaded. -181943562
  • Group/Assn Portal
    • Add shop city to the group/assn portal listing – 182241047
  • Circle Gift Card
    • Generated pdf that contains gift card details to be attached in the recipient email -182191099
    • Accept payments via Paypal for online gift card sales – 182082112
    • Dashboard now shows outstanding balance and monthly purchases and resumptions 182080350 (If you are not using v1 vouchers contact support about trying this)
  • Wish lists
    • Added a shareable URL to enable people to share their wish lists 🙂 -182079784 (Next will be wish list fairies)

  • API’s
    • Add a sandbox flag to the Product Events Watcher to stop test and live data getting mixed – 182249993
    • Added the ability to update customer account details through API – 182417879
    • APIs to fetch data on Gift Cards, to update customers accounts and to help with new site setup – 182190561, 182417879, 182385145.
  • Website
    • When there is no image available the loading keeps spinning – added “No Photo Available” image – 182242156
  • Security
    • Encrypted stored external services passwords 181328156
  • Xero
    • Expanded Xero payment mapping – 177278578

    • Replace “render nothing” code to make it compatible with Rails 6 and fix mini tests -182076716, 182183195
