November 2025 System Updates

November saw progress on the Mob POS. SEO speed optimisation also continued as well as ADA, loyalty and Stripe integration improvements. Large projects like the new website checkout and multi tax support started to be rolled out.

New Features & Improvements ready to use/try

    • New website checkout
      • Added a new shipping tax calculator to the cart, that supports ex/inc tax situations. #13212
      • Setup long term storage for the tax applied to each line in the cart. #13041
    • New Sales tax module
      • New Sales tax module
        • Added tax inclusive calculation to the new sales tax module and applied it to the website cart calculation #13218
    • Email templates
      • Added an editable email template that enables you to setup a custom default message in inwards goods. See Settings > Field display  #13024
    • Stripe integration
      • Added the ability to add the card reader in the back office to save having to do it in stripe (a step many were tripping up on). #13237
      • Added a Hotwire-powered onboarding drawer, making it easier and faster for staff to register Stripe readers and manage their setup. #13251
    • ADA
      • Added alt text across the site to support screen readers which improves accessibility for disabled people. #13002
      • Added page landmarks so screen-reader users can navigate content more easily. #13071
    • Loyalty
      • Hid the loyalty join box for already-enrolled customers to avoid confusion at checkout. #13032
    • MobPOS App
      • Added a short cooldown between barcode scans to stop accidental double scans #13249

    • Gift card system improvements
      • Unified 3 different gift card payment methods into one to gift cards easier to maintain throughout the system #13240
      • Added gift cards including Vii into account merging to keeping all customer data consistent and preventing lost information after merging. #13219
      • Fixed Stripe errors so customers can buy multiple gift cards without issues. #13293

    • Pubnet Integration

      • Created columns in the database to storage login, password and san for Pubnet #13256

      • Upgraded Ruby to 3.4.7 to stay current and fix bugs. #13244
