February 2026 System Updates
In Feb we added polishing touches to existing features (New checkout, Stripe, message templates, MobPOS, Events and website) We also released Bookie for trial.

- New Checkout
- We redirected eWay card purchases to the new unified completed order page so customers always land on a detailed and consistent confirmation screen. #13543
- Added a clear gift card redemption line to the completed order page so customers can easily see how their gift card was applied and understand the final amount charged. #13542
- Improved the gift card redemption layout by resizing fields and adding an Apply button, making it obvious how to redeem gift cards and reduces confusion for online shoppers. #13472]
- Stripe
- Added the ability to set and clearly display a default location ID in the back office, simplifying reader registration for staff. #13531
- We added a clear interface to view Stripe reader locations and their devices so staff can easily see reader status and manage large setups with pagination. #13564
- We enabled staff to register Stripe readers directly in backoffice with our new layout. #13590
- Inwards Goods > E-mail & SMS Templates
- Simplified bulk messaging by hiding unused template links and automatically selecting the oldest template. #13549
- Mobile POS
- Implemented full internationalization across the Mobile POS app so adding new languages is easier and safer, ensuring clearer text and a better experience for users worldwide. #13458
- Pubnet Integration
- We introduced a feature flag to control Pubnet ordering, allowing stores to safely enable or disable Pubnet based on readiness. #13553
- Events
- Added clickable Google Maps links to event locations so customers can quickly find venues with ease. #13550
- Enabled one-click Google Calendar links for events, allowing customers to easily save dates and times to their calendars. #13551
- Bookie help bot
- Embedded an AI powered chat bot (Bookie) across all backoffice pages so staff can get instant answers to common questions to improving daily efficiency. #13537
- Website Optimisation – Sitemap
- We sped up sitemap and product sitemap pages by loading data directly from the database instead of search services, which reduced load, improved performance, and helped search engines crawl pages more efficiently. #13484

- Database
- We upgraded the production database to a newer, faster, and more secure version to improve performance, reduce future costs, and ensure long-term support without impacting store operations. #13547
- Dashboard
- We rewrote the administration dashboard using Hotwire to modernize the interface while keeping all features functional. #13572
- Security
- We updated vulnerable npm packages to improve security and stability, reducing risk from known issues and keeping the application safe and maintainable long term. #13609
- Feature flag depreciation (makes a feature available to everyone)
- We permanently enabled CSV-based stock loading and removed the feature flag, making bulk stock entry simpler and consistently available for all sites. #13281
