August 2026 System Updates

In August we made a lot of progress on Deals and movers the website and purchasing. Taxes, the ledger and invoicing also got attention,

New Features & Improvements ready to use/try

      - Introduced the foundation for a new Hotwire-based Deals page behind a feature flag, allowing selected stores to preview a more modern interface while development continues and additional functionality is added. #14594

      - Added product descriptions to the new Group Buy layout behind a feature flag, making it easier for selected stores to preview the upcoming interface while development continues. #14656

      - added the Min Qty information to Group Buy products, helping stores see the required minimum purchase quantity when reviewing deals; the value is currently mocked. #14862
      - added the product allocation interface for Group Buys, allowing stores to adjust quantities for individual locations; the feature is still under development and uses mock data. #14728
      - added an Allocation Settings page for head office sites, making it easier to set and adjust store allocations while ensuring the total allocation is correctly distributed. #14859
      - introduced a new Hotwire load deal interface with CSV upload and column mapping, giving users a clearer way to review and prepare deal information while the new experience continues to develop. #14649
    - Movers
      - Added the ability to send processed mover items directly to supplier carts from the new Movers interface, helping staff create and update purchase orders more quickly. #14716
      - Improved Movers AI by using each product’s actual lead time history when generating reorder suggestions, helping stores receive more accurate recommendations. #14663
      - Created the backend flow to search agency distributors and local transfer options, supporting the new Movers interface and making future reorder management faster and more organised. #14753
      - added the actual agency and distributor options to the Movers distributor dialog, making it easier for staff to select the correct supplier when managing reorders. #14810
      - added a dedicated button for Movers time logging, making it easier for staff to record the next start time without interrupting the accept or reject workflow. #14938
      - added local transfer options to the new Movers distributor selection, showing stock, sales and threshold information for each shop to help staff make better reorder decisions. #14872
      - added a dedicated page for stores to manage their Movers AI instructions, giving authorised staff more control over how reorder suggestions are generated. #14852
      - connected the Movers reorder suggestions to each site’s customised AI instructions, allowing stores to receive reorder recommendations that better match their specific business needs. #14853
    - Customer Orders
      - Improved Customer Orders so staff can update item notes and prices without selecting the item first, making it easier to edit order details while reducing accidental processing actions. #14670

      - Removed an outdated author page route, improving website performance and helping search engines use the newer author page links more efficiently. #14690

      - New Checkout Page
        
        Added an Edit Cart button to the checkout review page, making it easier for customers to update quantities or items without restarting the checkout process. #14743
        
        simplified loyalty opt-out to a single action, allowing customers to decline the programme and continue checkout without unnecessary confirmation prompts. #14742
    - Purchase Orders
      - Currently On Order
        
        Added a clear indicator for customer special orders on the Currently On Order report, making it easier to identify backordered items waiting for customers and open the related orders quickly. #14688
      - Load Stock
        
        Updated the TitlePage connection to its new address, keeping distributor and stock lookups working so stores can continue raising purchase orders normally. #14866
      - PubNet
        
        Now build jobs directly from the supplier eInvoice, ensuring quantities, barcodes and pricing come from a single reliable source for more accurate and consistent receiving. #14553
        
        Added a task to backfill the source information for existing inwards goods jobs, making it easier to identify where jobs originated and supporting simpler PubNet operations. #14802
    - Ledger
      - Improved the way ledger records are updated after gift card ownership changes, helping financial records remain accurate and consistent behind the scenes. #14591
    - OneWaySMS
      - Added support for using a store’s registered SMS sender name, helping Australian text messages display as verified and improving customer trust. #14602
    - Mob POS
      - Added cash payments to the mobile POS, allowing cashiers to complete cash sales with automatic cash rounding and change calculation, making it easier to serve cash-paying customers without switching to the legacy POS. #14829
      - updated the Mobile POS to meet Google’s latest Android requirements, helping ensure the app remains available and usable through Google Play. #14812
    - Inwards Goods
      - Removed the unused Box Code search option from New Arrival, leaving only the supported search options and making the receiving process clearer for staff. #14832
      - added a reconciliation step for PubNet jobs so managers can confirm pricing and fill orders before stock is scanned and loaded, making box-by-box receiving more organised. #14781
    - Invoices
      - Improved invoice shipping tax calculations to follow the order’s applicable tax schema, helping ensure invoices remain accurate for sites using multiple tax rates. #14431
    - Tax
      - Added Multi-Tax calculations to the new POS version, which is still in progress, ensuring each item can use the correct tax rules and customers are charged the correct total. #14811
    - Exports
      - Added Customer ID to customer exports, making it easier for stores to match exported customer records with their Circle records and other systems. #14420

House keeping

- - Deprecate Feature Flag
    - Completed the rollout of the improved sale order creation process and removed the feature flag, helping ensure customers receive a single, correct order while reducing ongoing maintenance. #14654
    - removed the feature flag for the improved Pending Orders by Items page after its successful rollout, making the faster and more efficient page available without additional feature flag management. #14875
  - Feature flag management
    - Added the ability to rename existing feature flag columns without deleting assigned flags, making it easier to correct or update column names safely. #14704
