David Walliams’ new title, ‘The World’s Worst Parents’ takes the top spot this month with 1,867 sales.

This is followed closely by the hardback copy of ‘A Room Made of Leaves’ which sold 1,771 copies. 

‘Phosphorescence: On Awe, Wonder and Things That Sustain You When the World Goes Dark’ dropped two places to third, selling 1,737 copies (-195).

No change to our two top titles this month. ‘Phosphorescence: On Awe, Wonder and Things That Sustain You When the World Goes Dark’ sold 1932 copies (-302).

‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ sold 1091 copies (-260).

‘Dark Emu: Aboriginal Australia and the Birth of Agriculture’ rose from #13 to #3 with 1089 sales this month (+587).

‘Phosphorescence: On Awe, Wonder and Things That Sustain You When the World Goes Dark’ was #1 with 2234 sales, up from #2 with 1239 sales last month.

‘Normal People’ rose to #2 from #16 (367) with 1451 sales this month

‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ holds at #3 with 1351

To continue the monitoring of  ‘Bluey’ titles in the top 50, there are 6 titles this month and their total beats the #1 this month with a total sales of 2398.

‘A Bigger Picture (Malcolm Turnbull, HB)’ was #1 in April with 1762 units sold.

‘Phosphorescence: On Awe, Wonder and Things That Sustain You When the World Goes Dark’ was #2 with 1243 sales.

‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ dropped down one spot to #3 with 1077 sales (- 127)

As a small aside the combined sales of the six ‘Bluey’ titles in the top 50 are greater than Malcolm Turnbull’s ‘A Bigger Picture’.

‘Dark Emu: Aboriginal Australia and the Birth of Agriculture’ took the top spot for December with 2,593 (+1466) sales.

Books for younger readers continued to feature for the holiday season with ‘Bluey: The Beach (A Lift-the-Flap Book)’ coming in second with 2,189 (+247) and ‘The Beast of Buckingham Palace’ third with 2,072 sales (+1551). Many popular titles like, ‘Ottolenghi: Simple’ and Sally Rooney’s ‘Normal People’ returned to the list.
